A craftswoman from Liaoning has re‑created a precious treasure of the Hunan Museum with traditional paper-pleating techniques.
Li Xue, a representative inheritor of Li’s Traditional Paper-Pleating craft from Liaoning, spent half a month creating a paper replica of Min Fanglei (an ancient Chinese ritual bronze vessel) and donated it to the Hunan Museum. Known as the “King of Fanglei”, Min Fanglei stands as an iconic work from the golden age of China’s bronze culture.
