With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, Chinese and international students at Shenyang Normal University gathered for a series of engaging, festival-themed cultural activities designed to provide an immersive cultural experience.

The participating international students come from 10 countries including Russia, Vietnam, Laos, and Jordan; for most, this marked their first time celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival in China. Upon entering the university’s Multi-Function Hall, they felt as though they had stepped into a miniature “Moon Palace”. They savored tea and mooncakes, learned to fold paper osmanthus flowers, and shared their wonderful experiences of this traditional Chinese festival with family and friends via social media.
