Located right next to the Shenyang Imperial Palace, “Still Shenyang” is a captivating immersive spot well worth visiting. This time, LICC host Winnie teams up with KAMBILI Dieu Grand, an international student from the Central African Republic studying at Shenyang Normal University, for this special city experience.

Here, visitors immerse themselves in the city’s story, rather than just viewing static exhibits. They wander through life-size recreated scenes, stepping into the timeless charm of Shengjing (present-day Shenyang), the Republican-era style block and the industrial bustle of old Shenyang. They may come across NPCs giving impromptu performances and gradually get drawn into the story, as Shenyang’s past unfolds before their eyes.

After the tour, the international student has been thoroughly impressed. He is no longer just a visitor but part of the story. Immersed in Shenyang’s history and culture, he simply does not want to leave!
