Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the list of excellent industrial Internet APP solutions for 2022, with 191 solutions selected nationwide. Two projects from Dalian are listed, namely “a solution for remote production and operation supervision of marine ranching” by Aohai Technology Co., Ltd. and “a digital solution for the discrete manufacturing industry through industrial Internet technology” by Dalian Xinhai Zhiqiao Information Technology Co., Ltd. They are successful practices in the transformation of manufacturing towards digitalization in Dalian.

The two companies on the list are from Dalian High-tech Zone, both with outstanding capabilities of technological research and development as well as significant achievements. Aohai Technology’s platform for marine ranching supervision is used to improve marine ranching management and digitally empower industry upgrading. It is like a pair of “intelligent eyes” under the sea, solving such problems as “invisible, mismeasured and uncontrollable” marine ranches. It enables users to gain a thorough understanding of the resource conditions in marine ranches and to achieve the “visibility”, “measurability”, “controllability” and “early warning” of the resources, thus making marine ranches safer and smarter.
