On February 17, Shenyang (Beijing) Cultural and Tourism Industry Major Project Investment Promotion Conference, hosted by the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government, was held in Beijing. At the promotion conference, 10 projects were signed with a total contract amount of 12.29 billion yuan.

With an emphasis on Shenyang’s resource advantages, including “historical culture, red culture, industrial culture, ethnic culture” and “three mountains, three waters, and six districts”, the conference focuses on 21 investment projects of new business models, new consumption, and new energy level to carry out investment promotion activities. The signed projects include the Comprehensive Protection and Utilization Project of Cultural and Tourism in Ancient Shenyang City, the Aerospace Metaverse Experience Base at Dingxiang Lake, and the Film & TV Cultural Industrial Park Project in Guandong Film and Television City, covering various industries including historical culture, cultural and commercial integration, digital culture, rural tourism, and film and entertainment, which provide strong impetus for the high-quality development of Shenyang’s cultural and tourism industry.

It is reported that Shenyang currently aims to accelerate the construction of a national central city, concentrating on building a regional cultural and creative center and achieving the goal of “multiplying” the tourism industry in three years. In the future, Shenyang will further deepen the exchanges and cooperation with cultural and tourism enterprises and investors from various regions, build a new platform for high-quality cultural and tourism resources to connect with various types of capital for cooperation, and transform Shenyang’s cultural and tourism resource advantages into industrial and development advantages.
