In the digital workshop of the Shenlong Turbocharger, a series of industry-leading industrial Internet application scenarios are presented before your eyes, and intelligent production scenarios can be seen everywhere in the factory, such as human-machine collaborative operations, intelligent warehousing and logistics, and so on.

“These are the initial achievements of the construction of the company’s project ‘Digital Intelligent Factory’. At present, the renewal construction project of the intelligent factory for turbochargers with a total investment of 30 million yuan is under construction. After the completion of the project, the annual output value will be 100 million yuan and the annual profit will be 10 million yuan.” Liu Jihao, general manager of the company, introduces that this year’s orders have increased by more than 25% compared to last year, and that the company is grasping the development opportunity of the digital economy to achieve “smart manufacturing” upgrade through promoting digital technology to empower the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.

In addition to the Pacific Shenlong Company, Fengcheng Dongzeng Foundry Co., Ltd. is also quietly undergoing a “smart manufacturing” upgrade. The company has built an intelligent production and processing workshop measuring 2,000 square meters with an investment of 50 million yuan, where newly purchased advanced machining equipment is running at full capacity. “We have achieved the deep processing and manufacturing of finished products through technological upgrading.” Chen Xiyue, the general manager of the company, is confident in the enterprise development after the technological transformation and upgrading. “The company promotes industrial upgrading with technological innovation to achieve optimization of the industrial chain’s extension, thus creating new momentum for growth.”

Dandong is supposed to take digital empowerment as a significant measure to promote the transformation of “time-honoured brands”, to focus on the extension and supplementation of the industrial chain to accelerate the expansion of “original brands” , and to take the cultivation of leading enterprises as a goal to drive “new brands” . In 2023, the city will implement 103 projects of 10-billion technological improvements in 100 enterprises throughout the year, and is expected to add another 50 digital application scenarios. And the adoption rate of cloud computing in industrial enterprises will reach 15%.
