To better meet the public’s needs for summer visits, Liaoning Provincial Museum extends its opening hours from July 1 to August 31. During this period, it opens from 9:00 to 18:00 every Tuesday to Sunday (no admission after 17:30).
No reservations are required for visits to Liaoning Provincial Museum. Visitors can enter the museum by swiping their ID cards, and after passing through security checks. For children and foreign passport holders, a special passage is opened for verification. Visitors who do not take ID cards along can scan the QR code on site to complete verification before entering. Visitors holding special valid credentials, such as elderly people over 70 years old, and disabled people, have the priority to enter.
To ensure the safety of cultural relics, and a sound visiting order, entering will be temporarily suspended when the flow of visitors reaches the peak of instantaneous capacity. Currently, the museum is holding a series of large-scale special exhibitions, and its permanent exhibitions remain open. The museum will also launch a variety of activities and preferential benefits during this summer vacation.
