Liaoning is home to a wide variety of performances. There are hundreds of performing arts groups, including the world-renowned Liaoning Ballet and Liaoning People’s Art Theatre as leading groups. In theaters, one can enjoy many concerts, dramas, operas, ballets, children’s plays and other types of performance. Many shows with ethnic characteristics can also be seen in Liaoning. The Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County Tourism Song and Dance Troupe, by virtue of the Yongling Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty as a world cultural heritage, has created more than 20 singing and dancing programs with a strong Manchu flavor, and used to perform hundreds of times every year.
