The Liaoning Ballet, as the cultural representative in Liaoning Provincial Delegation for Friendly Economic and Trade Exchanges, has recently completed negotiations on multiple cooperative projects with The Primorsky branch of the Marinsky Theatre in Vladivostok, capital of Primorsky Krai of Russia.

The Liaoning Ballet signed three contracts with The Primorsky branch of the Marinsky Theatre, including the permission for the ballet performances Notre-Dame de Paris and Star GALA in Russia, collaboration on choreography of the ballet The Nutcracker, and the cooperation on talent exchanges for both sides.

On February, 2024, the newly-adapted ballet Notre-Dame de Paris by The Liaoning Ballet and Star GALA featuring well-known ballets at home and abroad will be on stage in Vladivostok. The Liaoning Ballet and The Primorsky branch of the Marinsky Theatre will also collaborate on the choreography of the world classic The Nutcracker in 2024. The talent exchange program will be carried out in the form of workshops and joint performance.

The Liaoning Ballet enjoys its reputation in China and around the whole world. In recent years, it choreographed many classical and modern ballets. Ballets such as Mulan and Eight Women Throwing into the River have been performed in countries like Russia, receiving much praise.
