Recently, the economic and trade delegation of Russia’s Primorye Territory conducted trade and investment matchmaking activities in Dalian. The Russia’s Primorye Territory Trade Representative Office in Dalian was officially inaugurated, further accelerating Dalian’s opening up to the north.
Primorye Territory serves as the economic, political, and cultural center of Russia’s Far East region. Leveraging this region, the office aims to promote economic and trade cooperation between Dalian and Russia’s Far East region, expecting to have a positive impact. The establishment of the representative office was planned by the governments of both regions since last June and was realized within six months.
The Russia’s Primorye Territory Trade Representative Office in Dalian will strengthen the exchange of economic and trade information between the two regions, facilitate the participation of companies from both sides in large-scale economic and trade activities, and promote Russian investment projects in Dalian. At the same time, it will provide robust support on expanding import and export trade, deepening information resource exchanges, enhancing industrial cooperation, and fostering brand effects and cluster advantages. The overall objective is to cultivate new trade growth points, elevate the level of economic and trade investment cooperation, and establish a more mature regional market.
During the visit of the economic and trade delegation of Russia’s Primorye Territory in Dalian, various economic and trade activities were conducted. At a conference on promoting Russian enterprises, 20 Russian companies had face-to-face exchanges and negotiations with nearly 100 companies from Dalian, exploring business opportunities and expanding cooperation. According to preliminary statistics, a total of 13 cooperative projects were discussed, involving a trade volume of 150 million yuan.
