To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia, 15 representatives from the Mongolian economic and trade delegation visited Northeast China’s Liaoning Province at the invitation of the Liaoning Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. From June 17 to 19, the delegation, led by Batsukh Galsan, former Mongolian Ambassador to China and Chairman of the Mongolia-China Friendship Association, arrived in Shenyang to engage in cultural and educational visits, tour cultural and tourism venues, and participate in exchanges and discussions, with the aim of deepening the communication and cooperation between Mongolia and Liaoning Province.
In recent days, the Mongolian economic and trade friendship delegation visited Shenyang Imperial Palace, Industrial Museum of China. They also visited the Liaoning International Communication Center, Northeastern University, and Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, where they had in-depth exchanges with media journalists and student representatives. During this period, the Liaoning-Mongolian Photography Exhibition was unveiled in Shenyang, showcasing 60 outstanding photographs that vividly depict the diverse cultural scenes of Mogolia and various regions in Liaoning.
In 2022 and 2023, the Mongolia-China Friendship Association and the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia jointly organized the “Mongolia-China Friendship Week” series of activities in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Liaoning, as the guest province, has previously sent a cultural exchange delegation to Mongolia to participate in the activities. There is a solid foundation for communication and cooperation between Liaoning and Mongolia. In recent years, cultural and artistic exchanges between Liaoning and Mongolia have become increasingly close. The visit of the delegation has further enhanced mutual understanding and friendship, and promoted cultural exchanges and cooperation.
On June 18, the Liaoning Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Mongolia-China Friendship Association signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a friendly and cooperative relationship. Both parties will engage in various forms of exchanges and cooperation in science and technology, culture, education, tourism, sports, and sister-city relations, in order to promote common prosperity and development.
