On May 27, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held the twenty-third press conference of the series titled “Making Breakthroughs for Revitalization, and Striving for Decisive Achievements”, presenting the important plans, major tasks, and specific measures for winning the decisive year’s final battle and striving to take the lead.
Since the beginning of the year, Shenyang has issued 50 million yuan in automobile purchase subsidies, driving 2.75 billion yuan in consumption. Additionally, 60 million yuan in public benefit consumer vouchers has driven 305 million yuan in consumption. The city plans to organize over 1,000 consumption promotion activities throughout the year.
Shenyang has accelerated the construction of key laboratories, such as the Liaoning Academy of Materials and the Liaohe Laboratory, with national-level scientific and technological innovation platforms reaching 100; vigorously implemented the “Xingshen Talent Plan”, hosting the Northeast Asia Talent Exchange Conference and the PhD Holders Tour in Shenyang, attracting 35 high-end innovation teams and introducing and cultivating 600 senior experts. Shenyang is also vigorously implementing the “AI+” initiative, accelerating the pilot application of “vehicle-road-cloud integration” in intelligent connected vehicles and the construction of “5G + Industrial Internet” integrated application pilots, working to build a new generation of high-quality national artificial intelligence (AI) innovative development pilot zones.
Shenyang is striving to open more than three new international passenger and cargo routes, expand the China-Europe Railway Express and TIR Carnet shipments to boost cross-border e-commerce orders beyond 9 million. Shenyang will also enhance the quality and efficiency of its China-German, China-Japanese, China-Korean, and China-Russian international parks. To elevate its global profile as “International Shenyang”, the city will host major events such as the Global Industrial Internet Conference and the SCO Forum on People-to-People Friendship and the Forum on Friendship Cities.
