A delegation led by Dr Nurgiyatna, Director of Reputation, Partnerships, and International Affairs at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) in Indonesia, recently visited Liaoning University (LNU). The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions regarding short-term student exchanges, joint training programs, faculty and student visits, and scientific research collaboration. To foster mutual learning and development in higher education between China and Indonesia, LNU and UMS officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking the latter as LNU’s 177th partner institution.
The signing of this MOU marks LNU’s first partnership with an Indonesian university, further strengthening LNU’s international cooperation network in Southeast Asia, and expanding its channels for the internationalized cultivation of students.
