On January 15, the Liaoning Provincial Association for International Educational Exchange held a seminar on “Telling China’s Stories and Spreading Liaoning’s Voices” at Dalian University of Technology.

This seminar focused on preparatory education, enrollment management, international communication, the Young Envoys Scholarship (YES) program, and the development of international student counselor teams. International education professionals from over ten universities, including Dalian University of Technology, Liaoning University, Shenyang Aerospace University, and Dalian Maritime University, participated in the event, and shared their practical experiences. The experts not only introduced the current status and achievements of international education and international communication in Liaoning Province, but also jointly planned and discussed how to further advance international education and international communication work in the province.

This event also covered in-depth discussions on how to promote the high-quality development of studying in Liaoning, and enhance the province’s educational openness to the world through pragmatic measures. In 2026, the Liaoning Provincial Association for International Educational Exchange will focus on building the “Study in China” Liaoning brand, improving the quality and efficiency of international study programs in ten areas, including student recruitment and selection, training systems, management services, cultural exchanges, and safety guarantees. Experts at the event offered suggestions to build bridges for international students to understand Liaoning Province and China, aiming to enable each student to become an “envoy” for cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and other countries, and also a storyteller and promoter of China’s stories.
