On February 27, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held a press conference, interpreting the “Guidelines on Building ‘Liaoning Premium Products’ Brand to Advance New Breakthroughs in its Full Revitalization”.
The Guidelines proposes that by 2025, the province will foster a batch of “Liaoning Premium Products” brands with strong competitiveness and remarkable driving effect, further improving its brand construction mechanism and ensuring new progress in its brand construction at the early stage. By 2027, a well-structured brand system with reasonable arrangements and significant advantages will comprehensively take shape, which means that the competitiveness of Liaoning’s brands will be among the top nationwide.
The Guidelines puts forward the “1+4” brand system and the “1+N” institutional system. In terms of the former, “1” represents the general public brand of “Liaoning Premium Products”, and “4” refers to the four subordinate brands under the general brand, namely, the agricultural brand, the industrial brand, the service brand, and the regional brand. In terms of the latter, “1” means the management measures for the “Liaoning Premium Products” brand, and “N” consists of “N” sets of supporting systems, including general specifications for assessing “Liaoning Premium Products”, regulations on experts, regulations on trademark using, and regulations of certificates. Liaoning will also refine the development system for “Liaoning Premium Products” to foster the agricultural brand, the industrial brand, the service brand, and the regional brand.
Moreover, the Guidelines pointed out that efforts should be made to innovate the “Liaoning Premium Products” assessment system to supervise quality strictly, enhance brand protection, and conduct regulation through service upgrades. The province should create a publicity system for “Liaoning Premium Products”, further expand domestic and international markets, and lead customers to recognize and trust the “Liaoning Premium Products” brand, so as to increase the market shares and brand influence of “Liaoning Premium Products”.
