200MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project in Fushun Mine Area Connected to Grid and Put into Operation
Mar 21,2023

At the construction site of the 200MW photovoltaic (PV) power generation project in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, the PV “matrix” like a deep blue ocean stretches nearly 267 hectares, rising from the mining waste heap of the Fushun west open-pit mine and contrasts with the Fushun urban area in the distance, creating a spectacular sight.

It is understood that the first phase of the project has been completed and grid-connected, and the second phase of the project is still under construction. Once all the phases are completed, the project will generate an average of 280 million kW/h of electricity per year. In comparison to traditional thermal power generation, this project will save standard coal by 88,000 tons and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 226,000 tons annually, effectively alleviating air pollution to contribute to energy conservation and emission reduction in China.
